What is the student lifestyle like in Stockholm?
It's nice. I think for every studying Erasmus student wherever goes is good.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?
Yes, after May for sure.
What is the food like?
Without any spices and tomato sauce. Sometimes too vegeterian. You have very limited choices for fast food (mostly chinese, burgers, kebab). Also the food is very expensive except Mc Donalds and King Burger. There very nice pastry sweets like cardamom buns and I love fika time.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?
700 euros at least. Transportation is very expensive, renting a room is also very expensive.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes. Yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?
Airplane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stockholm?
To a pub without entrance fee.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Stockholm?
No, I have never eaten in a restaurant as they are very expensive for me.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There are maaaaany museums. Skansen is really nice. Also walking around the city and watching the very beautiful buildings.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Stockholm in the future?
Bring warm clothes and vitaminD.
