What is the student lifestyle like in Stockholm?

Great! Very interesting! A lot of fun activities are organized by the university, a lot of clubs for students. Prices are a little bit higher than expected.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

Yes, for sure.

What is the food like?

The food is ok. The typical swedish food are meatballs.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

Yes.

How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?

Around 9000 swedish kronas. (approx 800 eur, including accommodation).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, the university has Swedish language courses. The language is not so easy. It is similar to German.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?

I live in Stockholm.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Visit Stockholm:

  • Vassa museum is must to see if you are in Stockholm
  • City Hall
  • Gamla Stan (Old Town)
