Why did you choose to go to Stockholm, Sweden?

I choosed to go in Stockholm because I love nordic countries and I knew that Stockholm was a super-cool city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've been in Stockholm for 5 months.
I recived something like 380 euro/month and that money was only for the room.

What is the student lifestyle like in Stockholm?

For Erasmus people or international student it's perfect,there's everithing.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

OF COURSE, I have Stockholm in mind every day!

What is the food like?

supermarket have everithing, don't worry.
If you want to eat typical Swedish food you'll find Meatballs place

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

Yes, that's super hard.
I was super lucky, the Stockholm-University gave me a room in a student residence.
If you have to find a room by yourself that could be a problem: It could be super-expansive and hard to find.

How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?

more or less 700 per month ( 400:room + 300: life ).
We are student so we know how to adapt:)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I didn't study anything in Swedish, only English.
All people know English in Sweeden.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?

From Italy, the cheapest it's ryanair from Bergamo to Skavsta.
In Skavsta there's a bus ( every 30 minutes and you can book the ticket online ) that go in Stockholm ( 45 minutes ).
100% it's the cheapest way.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stockholm?

Yes, the city is super clean, safe and there's everithing.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

So much.
Vasa Museum, Goldonen, Slussen View,Modern art museum, Nobel Museum, but actually all the city center is a cultural site.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Stockholm in the future?

Don't hesitate, Stockholm will be super cool!
