Why did you choose to go to Stockholm, Sweden?

Because Scandinavia has always been a mistery for me. And since I love winter, I looked up information about universities and chose Stockholm. Besides, the landscapes on google images were amazingly beautiful!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I chose a one-semester scholarship, although I knew people who were there with a two-semester scholarship.
I didn't receive as much money as I was expecting, since life in northern Europe is more expensive. I received per month the equivalent to what I was paying for housing, more or less.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

I definitely recommend the city. I fell in love with every corner of it, and it has a big space in my heart.
I did not go to the University of Stockholm, but to the Technical University, which is KTH, and my experience there was excellent.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

Yes, it is very hard to find a good place in which relation between price and location are good enough.

How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?

It depends on the area, whether it's closer to the city center or how big the room is... There are many factors.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It is not an easy language. However, university does offer courses to get to learn it easily.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?

By plane.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Stockholm?
