Why did you choose to go to Stockholm, Sweden?

Because they had really good and diverse political sciences programme, which I studied at that time and also because all the courses were in English, so it was really easy to study.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It is normally one semester or one study year scholarship, depends from what you choose. If you choose one semester scholarship you can also prolong it up to full study year. For half of study year you might get around 4000 euros which should be enough to cover your daily needs, but it always depends from your living standards.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

I would recommend the city.

What is the food like?

The food is good and the best of Erasmus experience in terms of food is that you can try all kind of dishes since normally students from different countries like to introduce others with their culture and food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

You need to be really quick and apply for accommodation in dormitories as soon as possible, because there are a lot of people who want to study in Stockholm, but not so many places to stay at dorms. Otherwise you need to look for a flat on your own.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available for all Erasmus students normally, but since mostly every Swedish, elderly included knows English, you are good to go even if your Swedish is really limited.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?

By ferry and plane.
