4000-5000 Krones for a furnished room in a corridor, up to 8000 krones for an apartment for yourself.

Language courses are available, as well as studies 100% in English. The language is hard to understand when you are not from Scandinavia, the Baltics, Germany or the Netherlands. If you are you will be okay.

Flying by Ryanair to Bromma airport (1h from Stockholm Centre by shuttlebus) is the cheapest one. Most convenient one is flying to Arlanda airport (20 min by high-speed train).

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stockholm?

There are a lot of bars in the old town (Gamlastan) that are open till about 3. 00 AM. Bars in the rest of the city often close at 0. 00 or 1. 00 AM.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Stockholm?

Go to places where you see Swedes going in, they have a good taste regarding food!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The archipelago is a must-see, as well as the Vasa-museet. Always show your studentcard, they often have good prices for students.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Stockholm in the future?

Be sure to start early with finding a room, it is really hard. You should also be aware that shops have a large price difference. For example a hairdresser: I have seen one for 100 Krones and one for 500 Krones.
