Talking about stereotypes: the Swedish

If you think for 15 seconds about the word Sweden, what does it come into your mind? Surely, the most common and well - known stereotypes will struck into your mind. The Spanish society started to stereotype this Nordic country at the end of the 60s and the 70s. Films that were published after Franco and films protagonized by Alfredo Landa have popularized the slogan "get the blondes".

However, now they are proud for being the most liberal and modern Europeans. Not only in their way of thinking, if not also in their way of dressing. Boys usually combine very modern hair styles, such as shaven with long hair, skinny jeans and brightly thick-rimmed glasses. Girls usually wear high heels and spectacular suits. That without having mentioned their make - up.

Normally, the Swedish stereotype represents a tall person, blonde followed by a canonical beauty. From my point of view, the stereotype hasn´t changed so much since the films of Alfredo Landa, has it?
