What is it like to live in Split? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Split is a wonderful city to live in. Like every town it has his good and not so good sides. Things that I love about is a long history, tradition, architecture, landscape and people who are generous and hospitable. It's not very big town so you can come fast from one side of the town to another promptly.
What is the student lifestyle like in Split?
Fun: Like all young people if you're looking to have fun you'll gonna find it. Split offers several different nightclubs depending on your music taste.
FOOD: Students have several restaurants where they can eat cheap with their student card lunch and dinner. Each faculty has its own small diner where you can buy hot sandwich doughnut, burek, croissant, something to drink, etc.

It's not difficult to find accommodation. Students have rights to the dormitory or you can always rent an apartment which is little bit expensive but if you share it with several people it gets easier.; )
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is great!
Traditional meals like soparnik is my favorite. Sea food is wonderful, frogs, sarma, rožata...
We have really good restaurants, even our pizza is better than the most pizzas I ate all over Italy, France, Spain, etc. We have really great cakes. Whatever you try you won't regret. The only food I don't like are TRIPICE!
What places would you recommend visiting in Split?
Diocletian palace, museums, Marjan, Sustipan, Bačvice, Žnjan, stadion Poljud (if you like football)...

What advice would you give future students heading to Split?
The lifestyle here is under the moto "Take it easy and enjoy".
We like to go out on the long coffee breaks in between classes. The best semester to be here is the summer but if you like mild winter then you can come then...
