Imagine, you are from the cold country, but happily, you came to Spain. Of course, you would like to go to the beach, to get a perfect, golden tan, and to swim enjoying the warm and clean ocean waves. That was exactly my case. As I came to Huelva, I needed to look for the nearest beach. That is how I found Punta Umbria.

I like Punta Umbria because of its sandy beach near the Atlantic Ocean. The first time my friends and I went to the beach was in March. For us (students from Latvia) it was unbelievably crazy! We were sunbathing and collecting sea shells but were not swimming this time.

In June I came to Punta Umbria several times. The sand was scorching, so be aware and do not forget to wear shoes; otherwise, your feet will be burned. And of course, use the sun cream because it is nothing to do on the beach without it but to get red as a lobster.
In Punta Umbria, you can get not only the perfect tan, but you also can enjoy swimming because the water is warm and there are no stones at the bottom of the sea.

Apart from sunbathing and swimming, you can just go for a walk. I would advise you to go to the pier. There you can enjoy the view and to meet super-cute cats. Yes, I am not lying, a lot of cats live on the pier!

So, if you happen to be in Huelva, you certainly should go to Punta Umbria. In March, April, and May you have an opportunity to enjoy the calm atmosphere because there are not many people at this time. But in summer, in June, when the weather is really hot, there are a lot of people, especially on weekends but it is not a problem because the beach is wide and clean and there is a place for everyone!
