Acquafraggia waterfalls, Piuro, Italy

This is a beautiful water fall where you can visit on the way to Sant Morize, Switzerland. While we were travelling to Switzerland among the small villages we saw this waterfall from a far distance. Then we could find the way to this waterfall through a small village, which is so calm and beautiful. This is located at the north part of Italy in Lombardy.

During the summer season, it is a nice place for hiking, walking and picnics. I spent quality time with my friends in this place. We could climb until the middle part of this water fall. From that point, the view is amazing. But I must say that if you are interested in climbing up, then get ready with all the equipment and proper shoes since the rocks are wet. It would be much dangerous if you be careless. So, pay attention when you keep each step on the rocks. While I was climbing, I was not wearing proper shoes since we did not expect to visit a waterfall. So, all the time it was slippery.

But I had a great time. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow at the foot of the waterfall. If there is a perfect sun shine and humidity then you can see a rainbow in this place. Besides that, we walked along the water way of the water fall and I could end up at seeing beautiful sceneries. In summer, it gives much more fresh air and refreshing moments.

In front of the water fall there is beautiful plane grass ground to play and spend time. This ground is filled with small trees and located in the middle of small village. At the end of the ground you can find a cafeteria, which offers a warm welcome and kind service to their customers.
