The capital of Bulgaria ..with a lot of landscapes...beautiful places to see ...big history.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sofia?

There are a lot of international students here...also we have a small "town" like a student campus with a lot of facilities wich is calledThe town of the student

How much does it cost to live in Sofia?

if you live in a dormitory here, 300 euro it will live normal. A room in the dormitories cost about 50 euro per month. If you want to rent an apartement with too rooms ( new building) it will cost more or less 200 euro per month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sofia? Is there any advice you can give?

Its not difficult to find an accommodation here. But most of the research must be through agent, because its like politic here in Bulgaria this kind of searching an accommodation

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Of corse the food is different in every country but is similar to greek,serbian and macedonian food if you have been there...one of our traditional dish is called BANITSA and we eat et for breakfast...also we have MUSAKA wich includes potatoes and meat but you cant imagine it if you dont see it.

What places would you recommend visiting in Sofia?

There are so many but some of the popular ones are in downtown so it won`t be difficult to visit them.

Is it good to eat out in Sofia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeas its good food , its not expensive such as Pizza Victoria, Bar In The End Of The World, Raffi bar, traditional bulgarian food is every where we called such places " kruchma" or "mehana" most of them are with bulgarian traditional folklore and orchestra.

Is the nightlife good in Sofia? Where is good to go?

"Sofia doesn`t sleep" they say there are a lot of bars and clubs in the Student`s town ...also in downtown... there are situated in different places al over the city

What advice would you give future students heading to Sofia?

It will be good do contact with your cordinator of the university you want to go, or there are students volunteers who help the international students to integrate.
