Why did you choose to go to Sofia, Bulgaria?

Because it is not famous like other European countries especially in Western Europe, so I liked to discover it.. It is like the buried treasure of Eastern Europe

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship duration was from 12 February to 6 July (around 5 months)
And I received more than 3000 euro as a whole

What is the student lifestyle like in Sofia?

Very good.. A combination of studying and having a good time with different events, parties and trips

Would you recommend the city and the University of Sofia to other students?

Yes of course.. They will thank me later

What is the food like?

Very delicious.. They have good dishes.. I liked especially Banichka, tarator and chopska salad 

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Sofia?

No.. It was easy.. They gave us accommodation when we arrived.. It was perfect and not expensive

How much does it cost to live in Sofia?

Not expensive.. It is cheaper than many other European countries especially in Western Europe .. Just have a lot of fun and forget money 

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Not easy but you will like it.. Anyway there are language courses at Sofia University and I advise you to learn it.. Take it easy 

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Sofia from your city?

Visa for studying, plane, baggage, your love and smile then go and enjoy your time 

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Sofia?

Clubs in studenski grad

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Sofia?

The marocain restaurant in Serdika
And there are many good restaurants in studenski

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museums
Churches and other temples ( Russian church, Jewish temple, ottoman Mosque) 

Cathedral of Alexander nefski 

Old shops in Serdika 
Opera
National theatre

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Sofia in the future?

If you have a chance to go to Bulgaria don't rate it.. You will have a lot of fun with fabulous people, dishes, culture, places and cities.. Have a new experience, it worth it, be sure
