What is it like to live in Sofia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I would recommend it, but i am a bit subjective. It is a nice city and there are all kind of entertainment - parks, malls, cinemas,clubs, concerts, you name it.
Beware of the traffic. Try to live closer to your university or near a subway station.
What is the student lifestyle like in Sofia?
I did not live in Studentski grad a.k.a. Student's town. That is where the party is. But the conditions of the dorms are not great.
How much does it cost to live in Sofia?
It is cheap for foreigners. You can find a room in a shared apartment for about 150 euro. The food is cheap - a good meal at a restaurant in the center is about 10 euro.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sofia? Is there any advice you can give?
Not really. But try facebook groups. Not agancies.
