Living in Sofia is a lovely experience, as it gives you many oportunities. There are lots of things to do, events are constantly being organised and it is a place visited by a lot of foreigners, which makes it kind of social in a way.

University students in Sofia are known for having a good time. It is easy to have fun and find many who would willingly join you. However, this does not mean that you'd have nothing else to do. You are expected to attend your duties at university if you are to get through the semester/year.

Life in Sofia is quite cheap. It is an affordable place, where you can do many things while not spending much.

You can never be hungry in Sofia. There are lots of places to eat, as well as street food, that provide a variety of delicious dishes.

What advice would you give future students heading to Sofia?

Be careful when you're out in the streets, Sofia is not always the safest place to live. Apart from that, you'll be sure to have a wonderful time. Try to meet some local people; you will find bulgarians quite interesting and with a good sense of humour most of the times.
