Why did you choose to go to Sofia, Bulgaria?

Because I wanted something different, "more exotic" than the west of Europe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

2 semesters with 2000 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sofia?

Parties everyday (hard to choose which one to do or not).

Would you recommend the city and the University of Sofia to other students?

Yes!

What is the food like?

Too much meat...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Sofia?

No, I was lucky!

How much does it cost to live in Sofia?

A lot of things are cheap, spending a lot of money because of this...

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is really hard to learn.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Sofia from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Sofia?

Art hostel is very good as guest house and as a bar!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Sofia?

Divaka restaurant, the Sun Moon.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Every museums.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Sofia in the future?

Be careful to don't fall in the food tentation, there are good food shops everywhere.
