I didn't choose it, it's where I was chosen to go.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
3 months and I still haven't received my money from the Andalusian government!
What is the student lifestyle like in Sofia?
There's a student area on the edge of town, all of the residences are there, as well as a lot of clubs, drinking, etc.
Would you recommend the city and the university of Sofia to other students?
It's not bad, it's cheap, there's a good atmosphere and the food is good.
What is the food like there?
It's very good, they have everything there.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Sofia?
A bit, it's difficult to find somewhere outside of the student area, the best way to go about it is by using an estate agent.
How much does it cost to live in Sofia?
No more than living in Spain.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the university?
No. Bulgarian is a crazy language.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Sofia from your home city?
From Barcelona or Valencia.
Where would you recommend for a night out in Sofia?
Look on Resident Advisor, there are a lot of parties going on.
And to eat in Sofia? What are some of your favourite places to go?
Pizzeria Roma.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
It's an interesting place for culture.
Do you have any advice for students coming to Sofia in the future?
Be careful with the taxi drivers.
