What is it like to live in Singapur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Singapore is a diverse city with great food and many places to visit. The night life is super fun too. The only thing that ever makes me want to leave is the humidity!

What is the student lifestyle like in Singapur?

It's pretty great. Going out is super fun. well, at least in university. During primary/secondary/tertiary education it's a mad rush.

How much does it cost to live in Singapur?

It's pretty average I think. Cheap food can be found. Housing is expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Singapur? Is there any advice you can give?

Not difficult, but expensive. Share a place maybe! Public transport is awesome so no worries there.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

One word. Amazing. Local dishes include laksa, chicken, rice, hokkien mee... so many others. International food here is really great too!

What places would you recommend visiting in Singapur?

Lots of food places, shopping centres.

Is it good to eat out in Singapur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes. Dempsey for classier dining, but malls are great too. Hawker centres are unique to Singapore so you need to try them for cheap good food.

Is the nightlife good in Singapur? Where is good to go?

Definitely. Zouk for university kids. Clarke Quay is great for bars and clubs too. And Ku De Ta at Marina Bay Sands and Bang Bang at Pan Pacific Hotel.

What advice would you give future students heading to Singapur?

Get ready to shop, eat and have fun.
