Why did you choose to go to Siena, Italy?

It is relatively better than many other Universities in the country, the program and courses meet my interests.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am not enrolled in scholarship program, i am self-funded.

What is the student lifestyle like in Siena?

Studying in Siena is academically good, but the lack of nightlife makes it a bit boring to stay in the weekends. In addition, you can hardly find many people speak english around so that what makes it harder in the daily interactions (supermarket, train, shops and even with students.. etc)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Siena to other students?

If your goals are purely academic, so you will somehow be satisfied with the academic content, otherwise, you're gonna have to learn italian so than you can have a better social life.

What is the food like?

Good, but you can not find many varieties, and that is strange since Siena is considered to be a touristic-place.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Siena?

Yes it did.

How much does it cost to live in Siena?

Around 500 euros\month (including rent).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Yes there is, but it is of no big use. Italian is easy to learn if you have free-time.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Siena from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Siena?

Out of Siena.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Siena?

All good restaurants are located around Piazza del Campo.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Duomo, Montepulciano, The Fisiocritici Onlus museum, Museo Geomineralogico e Zoologico. And you will be very lucky if you caught the Palio (July).
