I would recommend life in Siena to those who love simple things, good wine and good food, tranquility and a slow life.

It is quite varied, it welcomes students from the whole of Italy.
How much does it cost to live in Siena?
If you spend cautiously, in the norm.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Siena? Can you give some advice regarding this?
I don't think it is particularly complicated. The only advice that I can give is to not look in the centre because the accommodation costs so much!
How is the food in the area? What are your favourite meals?
The food is really good, you can find pubs where you can taste the typical tuscan dishes and dishes from Siena, but also restaurants that offer all types of food, as well as many international food places.
In your opinion, what are the places to visit in Siena?
The cathedral, Piazza del Campo, Piazza San Francesco, San Domenico church, the Fortezza, and all of the surrounding countryside and villages in the province.
And to eat in Siena? What are your local favourites?
Dolceforte, Le Sorelline, Il Boccon del Prete, La Grotta di San Francesco.
How is the nightlife in Siena? Where would you recommend to go out?
Cacio e Pere, and Un Tubo are the nicest places... at Cacio e Pere the aperitivo is fantastic and very cheap, whilst Il Tubo is... it's Il Tubo. It must be visited to do it justice. Wonderful.
Do you have some advice to give to future students of Siena?
I recommend leaving the city a lot, as much as possible, to visit the Crete Senesi and the little, picturesque towns... The Tuscan countryside has no equal.
