In August 2018, I arrived in Sevilla from Madrid. As the bus etched towards the Plaza de Armas bus station, the Sevillan tower, river and bridges were well distinguished and this would remain with me until now. The city was beautiful in every sense and had positive vibe with the scorching sun (summer time) beaming above.

It has been a year and there are som many things to say. Firstly, the people are warm, friendly and accept you immediately. I came here on back of my Masters to work here and I was welcomed and helped initially to find my footing. After that, my work experince was great with it's people and initially I lived in room which was booked with vivaerasmus. The process was clean and I had to sign some papers once I had made it to the city.

Sevilla is charming as a city and the first thing I did was start walking. I wanted to see the buildings, people, food to get a sense of it. Coming from India, this was very different, unique and drove my curiosity. Things people have to do is:

- Visit the Cathedral & Real Alcazar
- Taste the various tapas ( a delicacy )
- Walk through the centre in all the little alleys
- Must watch a football match!
- Plaza de Toro
- Visit Italica, Santiponce
- Las Setas
- Enjoy the gastronomy, especially the gazpacho & fish!
- Walk by the river or take a cruise ride.
- Use the Sevici, which is very convenient and an efficient way to move around

I have done it all and currently work for a company here. I take it eveything as it comes. In Sevilla, you will always have something to do or something to see. Initially, it mght feel a bit complicated but when you start meeting people, you'll learn a lot from them and for yourself as well. This city is packed with history from the Romans, Mussulman, Moorish & Byzantine civilization and to understand the essence, the history is important. Civlizations have all left something and it's our job to know about it and leave a bit of us here.

This is a short description of my experience and I would be more than happy to write or talk more about it.

Best Regards,
