Why did you choose Seville in Spain?

Because ever since I was little I dreamed of visiting the city with the strongest culture of flamenco and bull fighting in the world.

How long did your grant last? How much money did you receive?

The grant lasted a year. You can spend around €400 a month and live comfortably.

What’s life like for a student in Seville

It is very relaxed. You also get the opportunity to meet a lot of students from all over the world during parties and events.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Seville to other students?

I would recommend them both 100%. How could you not? It's one of the most beautiful, fun and amazing cities.

What’s the food like?

Spanish and Andalusian gastronomy are one of the best in Europe.

Did you find it hard to find accommodation in Seville?

If you look a lot and carefully then you will always find something.

How much does it cost to live in Seville?

There are a lot of different options with different price ranges. It can range from anywhere between €150 per person per month to 600 or maybe more.

Is it easy to learn the language? Does the university offer courses?

Yes, there are a lot of Spanish courses available or alternatively you can always start learning in an academy.

Which is the cheapest and most convenient way for you to travel to Seville from your town?

By plane, always.

Where would you recommend going to spend a night out in Seville?

If you like flamenco then you have to go to Triana. As for parties, all over the city; Bandalai and Uthopia are the best and Plaza Del Salvador is a great place for eating or having a drink.

And to eat? Could you recommend some good restaurants?

Cafe del Sol, Plaza de la Gavidia and La Gitana Loca all do good food.

What is there to visit in Sevilla?

The whole city, but especially La Giralda church tower, El Alcazar gardens, Triana and La Maestranza bull ring. These are all a must see.

Would you like to offer any piece of advice to future students who are going to live in Sevilla?

My one piece of advice is have a good time, enjoy the city, but not only its parties, also its food, culture and flamenco.
