Experience in Sevilla, Spain by Hector
What is it like to live in Sevilla? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Sevilla is one of my favourites cities, people are great but takes an extra time to befriend them; but every effort paid off, as I got an invitation to a cabin of the Feria de Abril.
What is the student lifestyle like in Sevilla?
Relaxed, I've hardly had to work, only a couple of weeks of the academic year.
How much does it cost to live in Sevilla?
Housing can be expensive.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sevilla? Is there any advice you can give?
I used Roommates Sevilla, the place was pricy but well located, a bit fancy. My damage deposit was not returned, I was blamed for breaking the A/C.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is excellent, my favorite is Salmorejo.
Salmorejo

Museo de Bellas Artes, Metrosol was not finished when I was there. There are plenty of beautiful small moorish churches, some with modern infills, they deserve a visit. But places look nicer is visited with good friends, not just classmates.

Zelay, Alameda de Hercules, Rinconcillo.
Is the nightlife good in Sevilla? Where is good to go?
I hardly went clubbing, I had a scooter; drink & drive was not an option.
What advice would you give future students heading to Sevilla?
Mingle with locals, hard since they don't speak English.
