Why did you choose to go to Sevilla, Spain?

Among all cities in south Spain, it is the major academic centre with a beautiful old town, great atmosphere. Sevilla Maravilla! Comparing to Madrid, which was my second option to choose, Sevilla is much better place!

An half year. Well, I had some savings, but in general you need at least 500-700€ per month to spend..

Great, many places to visit, lots of students from all over the world. Check facebook pages to get more info about parties, viajes and so on.

Yes, I would. But remember that you need to work during academic year.

What is the food like?

Fruits and vegetables are delicious. Check tapas bars but not in main district where American tourists are eating - ask your spanish collagues to show you real spanish bars.

Tapas tapas tapas.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Sevilla in the future?

Be patient to your spanish friends, they have a different mantality but in general it is so cheerful to spend time with them. Ask Erasmus students what asignaturas are fine to go for as spanish students may not help you much... In case of any questions, you may reach out to me!

¡Saludos!
