Why did you choose to go to Sevilla, Spain?

Sevilla is an awesome city. It has a mix of modernism and traditional Spain.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship was for 10 months. I received 1000 Euros each month, which was more than enough to live in Sevilla.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sevilla?

Student life is good in Sevilla. There are lot of parties almost every weekend and studies are good too.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Sevilla to other students?

Absolutely.

What is the food like?

Food is one thing that I remember the most. These guys are heavy on olive oil but the food is delicious.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Sevilla?

No, international office found the accommodation for me.

How much does it cost to live in Sevilla?

Sevilla is much cheaper compared to other cities. Rent is about 200-300 Euros, food is cheap and booze is cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Spanish is an awesome language and people are always very happy to help you with it. There are courses available in Instituto de Idioma, Universidad de Sevilla. These courses are really helpful and Spanish is fairly simple to learn however getting used to accent may take some time.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Sevilla from your city?

Get a bicycle card. Sevilla has tracks all over the city and it's not a very big city. Get a bus card too as soon as you reach, it will cost you almost half the actual amount.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Sevilla?

There are awesome places to hangout across the river road. Lot of bars, pubs, discos.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Sevilla?

I don't have any particular name in mind. Go explore the city, there are some awesome bars all over the place.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Go visit some Salsa bars, don't miss the festivals, take a city tour. Just walk in the city, Sevilla is a very beautiful city.
