What does "have" mean?

For many people, comforts are life. Lots of people think that to be happy in life you need to have at least some type of luxury that you can enjoy on a day to day basis. People tend to be considered somewhat materialistic and consumerist but that's not to say that the things that can't be bought easily aren't worth it.

When talking about comforts the majority of people say they need :

  • To have a good mattress to get a good nights rest.

  • To have a good sofa to watch TV on.

  • To have a heater for when you're cold.

  • To have air conditioning for when it's hot.

  • To have a remote control.

  • To have a good music system so you can listen to your favourite songs in the best possible way.

  • To have a wireless phone.

  • To have a duvet to keep you warm so you don't get cold in bed.

  • To have an en-suite in your own bedroom.

  • To have a balcony in your own room so you can go and get some fresh air whenever you feel like it.

  • To have a good desk for working or studying.

  • To have a car to go wherever you want.

  • To have adequate footwear for every occasion.

  • To have a nice dressing gown to match your pyjamas.

  • To have a good computer for working.

  • To have a good mobile phone that allows you to do lots of different things in whatever situation.

  • To have an Ipad.

  • To have the appropriate outfit for every occasion.

  • etc.

Personally, I think that life is much more than this, this is just a small insight on what's to come. And remember, somethings are for comfort, others for luxury, others are privileges and others are impulse.

I'll leave it there.

  • What does
