it is certainly difficult for students to live in Sapporo, as living expenses can be much higher than any other cities in japan apart from Tokyo.

it can cost more than 2000 chf to live in Sapporo. depending on which district you live

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sapporo? Is there any advice you can give?

accommodation in sapporo is not so hard to find as there are plenty agents available who on behalf can look after you. however, you would always need to register your address whenever you move either into the new district or any other cities in japan . also your residency permit wil need to be changed as soon as you move out of one states to another.

food is probably better than any other cities in japan
