What is it like to live in Sapporo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is very peaceful and literally crime-free. Safest place in the world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sapporo?

It is the same as everywhere. but if you are the party-type, then there is no option but to do it at home. Clubs here are not that great, I heard.

How much does it cost to live in Sapporo?

Depends on your lifestyle but as a student, you could say around $400-$600 per month for everything.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sapporo? Is there any advice you can give?

No, pretty easy. Just go to the housing agents.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Regular Japanese food but the Ramen & Sushi is the best!

Don't worry about anything! People are super friendly and everything is done right; it is extremely safe. But you need to know basic Japanese as people here do not know much English.
