What is it like to live in São Paulo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Live in são Paulo is live in a big city, with all the problems. Something great is that são Paulo never sleeps. You can have so many options 24h a day.
It's a city with too many contradictions, you see very much about poverty and richness.

How much does it cost to live in São Paulo?

It cost too much. Rentals are really expensive. Restaurants can be too much expensive but there are a lot of cheap and good options.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in São Paulo? Is there any advice you can give?

Maybe it's difficult to find a good cost x benefit relation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is amazing. Brazilian food is the best. Very tasteful, rich and with a variety of options available. I love "açaí", which is kind of a cream/ice-cream that you eat with granola (kind of cereal). we usually eat rice and bean with some meat in lunch and/or dinner. Maybe this sounds a little repetitive but we do love it. Our japanese cuisine is absolutely amazing. You will see a lot of japanese restaurants in são Paulo.

What places would you recommend visiting in São Paulo?

Ibirapuera Park, Liberdade neighbourhood (japanese and chinese neighbourhood), movies in Paulista avenue, augusta street if you are looking for a cool place to have a drink and Vila Madalena, the most bohemian plave in the city.

Is it good to eat out in São Paulo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's amazing to eat out here. I love one place called "canto Madalena", located in vila Madalena. another great place to go is "butantan food park", which is a place full of food trucks.

Is the nightlife good in São Paulo? Where is good to go?

It's just incredible. Try vila Madalena, where you can go to a samba, rock....

What advice would you give future students heading to São Paulo?

This is a big city so you should be always aware .
