Experience in Santiago de Compostela, Spain by Siara
What is it like to live in Santiago de Compostela? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Well... Santiago is a really small place. The city centre is made out of stone and it has a special medieval magic. It is the capital of Galicia and it is the end of the path of Santiago so it´s full of tourists and international. Native population is open minded and nice. They are used to deal with foreign people so do not hesitate to ask if you have any doubt.
Santiago has everything you need if you are looking for historical tradition, party but also calm.

In Galicia there is an official language "galician". Try to learn some words before go there.
Also, it has its own culture. If you are coming to Santiago thinking about the Flamenco and the bull this is not your place.
Apart from it, you are gonna have an amazing time. Enjoy it.
