It was not my first choice, but in the end, the city is very nice, it's easy to go from one side of the city to another by walk, and the university is old and prestigious.

What is the student lifestyle like in Santiago de Compostela?

Santiago is a city full of foreign students, though it is not as big as Vigo, the city has many to offer, the prices are really low so it's not really expensive to stay here.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Santiago de Compostela to other students?

I would recommend the city, though with the university, careful with the administration, you will have to be patient with them.

What is the food like?

The food is really good and not expensive.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Santiago de Compostela?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Santiago de Compostela?

A bit more than 500 euros, price of the flat (if you are sharing it) included.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The teachers speak good English, and it is easy with the time and with some notions of Spanish to understand gallego.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Santiago de Compostela from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Santiago de Compostela?

The Momo, Modus Vivendi and La Borriquita.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Santiago de Compostela?

La Tita is a fine place to eat tortilla, basically you can eat tapas in most of the bars for free if you're drinking something.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The cathedral, the old town and the Roman market.
