I was in Santiago one year with the Erasmus Mundus programme.

What is the student lifestyle like in Santiago de Compostela?

Awesome.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Santiago de Compostela to other students?

Yes, definitely. Especially, because the student life is very diverse and unique, thanks to the ESN, organization which makes trips and parties for students.

What is the food like?

Very delicious. Galicians know the way to make the great food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Santiago de Compostela?

Nope, I found it easily with the help of ESN and USC international office.

How much does it cost to live in Santiago de Compostela?

200 for a flat and 200 to the food. All the costs are in euros. If you will travel, of course, the costs described above will increase.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is relatively easy to learn. Courses are available throughout the whole year.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Santiago de Compostela from your city?

Turkish Airlines: Astana - Estambul. Estambul - Santiago.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Santiago de Compostela?

Just go to the parties of ESN. :)

Almost every bar has the variety of some traditional dishes of Galicia.

Cathedral, old town, beaches and seasides are beautiful.
