Why did you choose to go to Santiago de Compostela, Spain?
First of all, I want to say that Spain is my favourite country in the world. Santiago is a very interesting and historical city. I'm in love with Santiago's sightseeing, especially the Cathedral, also I like traditional music. Everyday I can hear nice music from the cathedral.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
10 month, every month I take 1000 euros. But it is not enough, because I pay rent from my scholarship, food. etc. Sometimes I need other things.
What is the student lifestyle like in Santiago de Compostela?
It's an interesting question... I think it depends on the students. For example, students like nightclubs, drinks... For me, lifestyle is different, because I have classes at night and I can not go to the club.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Santiago de Compostela to other students?
Of course, it's a very good university and you can get high knowledge from this university and become a self-confident person.
What is the food like?
There are very different and delicious foods, especially fish.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Santiago de Compostela?
Yes, it did.
How much does it cost to live in Santiago de Compostela?
It depend on situations and lifestyle for me 1000 euros is not enough.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Spanish language is very easy but it has sufficiently difficult grammar. If you want to study, you can attend Spanish courses in the university.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Santiago de Compostela from your city?
Really, I do not know.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Santiago de Compostela?
There are night clubs for drinks, parks, clubs for dancing, etc.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Santiago de Compostela?
Oh my god, this city is full of with amazing restaurants, in the centre, near the Cathedral.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
On the whole, you can see historical buildings.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Santiago de Compostela in the future?
If you want to come here, you should know Spanish language, because most of people in Santiago don't know English.
