I wanted to study in Spian, and that is the city my university offered me, was a huge success

What is the student lifestyle like in Santiago de Compostela?

Very good, a lot of exchange students from all around the world, you get a chance to make new friends both from spain and abroad
during the day you meet people at the university, and at evenings and nights there are a lot of activites

Would you recommend the city and the University of Santiago de Compostela to other students?

absolutely

What is the food like?

amazing. best sea food i have ever eaten
great tapas
a real culinary experience

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Santiago de Compostela?

not that much, was pretty easy

How much does it cost to live in Santiago de Compostela?

i paid 200 euros for a huge bedroom, but that is quite expensive to this place, most of my friends paid around 160-190 for a modest room

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Santiago de Compostela from your city?

flight

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Santiago de Compostela?

Start at the old city for tapas and drinks
then move on to the new part where all the clubs are

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Santiago de Compostela?

A Taberna do Bispo, O Gato Negro, San Clemente, Casa do Medio

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

cathedral, museums

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Santiago de Compostela in the future?

to travel all around Galicia, which is beautiful itself, to do the Camino de Santiago
and to enjoy every minute of their stay there
