The students go to school during the day, and at night there are always organised events and parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Santiago de Compostela to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

There are delicious foods but you can find all kind of international food too.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Santiago de Compostela?

No, I find my accommodation on the Internet at the Facebook page of Erasmus en Santiago de Compostela.

How much does it cost to live in Santiago de Compostela?

Approximately 500 euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

It is easy to grip with and the school offers different courses to students with different levels.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Santiago de Compostela from your city?

From Budapest I chose Wizzair to travel to Barcelona, and there I changed for Ryanair to travel to santiago. Be careful with the luggage weight limits! They are really strict.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Santiago de Compostela?

Shango, Bluster, Meia, Ruta, Retablo, Liberty, Apolo.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Santiago de Compostela?

O Piorno.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Cathedral, lots of park of the city, Museum of Boneval. Ciudad de la cultura was closed last year.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Santiago de Compostela?

Bring gum boots; ) But don't worry, you can enjoy the city although the weather is often rainy.
