Yes, there are busy places that is difficult to find affordable places, look for not crowded streets, University has some good places to stay near

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is one of the main atractions there, not just San Sebastián, all over the region there are excelent restaurants, from gourmet chefs to homemade delicious food

Is the nightlife good in San Sebastian? Where is good to go?

Parte vieja is the most known place to go, there are several bars in that hood with good food and nightlife. There is Aldo a famous disco called bataplan
