What is it like to live in San Francisco? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I was born in San Francisco and only lived there for a short time. I did work there for long time and visit quite often.

San Francisco is on;y seven miles by seven miles (not sure about kilometers) but I know that is very small for a city. Although small, San Francisco is a wealth of culture and entertainment that is perfect for everyone. From the arts to sports to culinary delights, San Francisco can measure up to any big city.

How much does it cost to live in San Francisco?

It is expensive like any city now.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in San Francisco? Is there any advice you can give?

No not at all. If you are a student, the best place would be a hostel. If you are traveling with multiple people and can afford to splurge a little, find an apartment you can rent.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Fantastic! Mexican food is my favorite.

What places would you recommend visiting in San Francisco?

All of the museums, Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street.

Is it good to eat out in San Francisco? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes. No one favorite.

What advice would you give future students heading to San Francisco?

Travel in a group or at least with one other person.
