Ocean Beach Farmers Market

San Diego is a great place, very relaxed with a surfer/skater vibe. The beaches are beautiful and they have many events all around the city to fulfill your days. One great event is located in Ocean Beach, it’s their famous farmers market. They have so many different venders and all amazing you wont know which food to buy or try! As I started to walk down one of the streets there was first a stand for bitchin’ sauce. Bitchin’ sauce is similar to hummus but made out of almonds and other nuts. It was amazing they had many different flavors with garlic, pesto, and spicy sauces. They also had tortilla chips but made in coconut oil instead of canola oil so it is a little bit healthier. They offer deals like 3 for 2 and other ones depending on how many you buy. I tried every dip and it was amazing, we bought a couple of flavors as well as the tortilla chips. We kept walking and came to a stand that made only grilled cheese. This was so good they had many flavors even grilled cheeses with bacon inside. They also had grilled PB&J. they were so cheesy and amazing I recommend sharing just so you don’t get too full and can try the other things! There was also a Mexican food stand that looked pretty good but we didn’t try it. We kept walking and there was a stand for salsa with lots of testers. You tried all different types of salsa and it was amazing. Got pretty full here. Then there was another stand for guacamole, which was so good, with different spices! Then we passed an African food stand that had many different kind of samosas! These are amazing and it was very cheap I tried a couple of them and I love samosas! There was a seafood stand as well where the delicatessen was uni, uni is a sea urchin in which they take out of its shell and you can eat it. Uni is the one with the long spikes all over, and when you step on it, it hurts so badly and pierces your skin! Then there was a cookie stand the name is The Cravory, oh my gosh, best cookies I have ever had. There were so many flavors; my favorite was the brownie cookie and the red velvet! They had many samples of all their cookies and they were all so good, I got some to take home! Next there was a peanut butter stand, they had all types of flavors like cookies and cream and many other ones. I tried a lot of the peanut butter and it was so good! I got a jar of the chocolate peanut butter to take home, yum! There was another Mexican food vender where we got stuffed tacos! It was amazing!! We walked down and there was another dessert vender but all the desserts were sugar free or gluten free!! They tasted so good I couldn’t believe it! They had many different local venders selling fresh fruit and veggies in which we bought some products. As we walked down we found a cupcake stand with great cupcakes. At the end there was a stand for pulled bbq pork. This looked amazing and it all came in a cup, they put mashed potatoes then pulled pork then mashed potatoes and bbq sauce. Next to this was a ice cream stand where they made wookies (cookie/waffle hybrid) this was to die for!! You have to get this it was so good. All in all this farmers market was a success and I was very very full. Everything was very cheap and so good! I definitely recommend coming here and trying all the amazing food!
