Salzburg

When I was 16 I went to Austria for a semester, and I had the best time ever!

I lived in Upper Austria, in a very small town, but fortunately trains connect the whole Country magnificently, and this gave me the chance to travel a lot. 

I didn't have much money to go around and do things, so, most of the times, I used to drive to another city with a couple of friends and enjoy the places!

To my friends who go visiting Austria, I always suggest to spend at least one day in Salzburg, a city that really seems to come from another time.

A good friend of mine moved there for studying, and she said that it is a very expensive city to live, but if you are as broke as I was, just drive there and take a walk through the city, it is a real jewel.
