¡Hola! I want to talk about an amazing city of Spain: Salamanca. This city is really awesome! It has a great atmosphere. For a student, you cannot find a better city than Salamanca. The best reason for me to love Salamanca is the 'party culture'. Every thursday, university students go out. It is such a part of a tradition.

Salamanca is a small city, but at the same time it is lively! There are a lot of students, which means you are going to have many friends :) Prices are not so high. Actually, it is a cheap city if you compare it with other European ones.

People who live in Salamanca speak the best Spanish in the world because they have no accent. So if your goal is to learn Spanish, then go ahead! Likewise, Salamanca has a lot of language schools.

Where can we eat?

I think that "Calle Van Dyck" is the best street if you want to eat out something and also if you like tapas, it is for you! There are a lot of famous restaurants such as "Mesón El Minutejo". That is the best one for me. In fact, there is another "El Minutejo" near the Plaza Mayor, but people prefer the one in "Calle Van Dyck".

"Alligator" made of marzipan:

"La Tahona de la Abuela": Bakery and Cakeshop, Restaurant close La Plaza Mayor and shops in Salamanca: link to "La Tahona de la Abuela" webpage.

What places can we see?

  • University of Salamanca:
  • Shells' House and Salamanca's Cathedral:
  • Plaza Mayor:
