The gastronomy is very rich. If you want, you can follow a Mediterranean diet (seasonal food: vegetables, legumes, fish, everything cooked with olive oil).
Some curious dishes in Salamanca: tossed potatoes, stews, good lamb and excellent sausages.
What would you recommend visiting in Salamanca?
There's a lot. It's a city filled with Renaissance architecture. Museums, music, movies, etc., and there are interesting villages nearby as well.

It always depends on your economic situation but there are quite a few options.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Salamanca?
There are lots of bars, pubs and breweries. You can also go party with who you want, the streets are jam-packed when it's nice out.
What advice would you give future students heading to Salamanca?
Take advantage to get to know people, visit all the monuments and the art found in the city while you're here. You should also take advantage to visit nearby cities, such as Zamora, Valladolid, Madrid, etc.
