How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

In my case, I received 1800 euros for 4,5 months.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Salamanca to other students?

Yes!

What is the food like?

A lot of tapas bars with delicious food.

Was it difficult to find your accommodation in Salamanca?

It was a little bit difficult because they want you to sign contract (and pay) for the entire academic year (and I was here just for one semester)

How much does it cost to live in Salamanca?

Depends on person. For me around 600 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There's a lot of language schools here which are cheaper than University Courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Salamanca from your city?

Plain and Blablacar. Train is the most expensive.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Salamanca?

Camelot, Submarino.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Salamanca?

Cafe Mary in the corner of Avenida de Portugalia.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Salamanca in the future?

You have to speak spanish and be very patient. Studies are not that easy, there's a lot of foreigner in the course and they are treated the same as spanish students. Some teachers let us pass/write in english, but basics of spanish is a MUST!
