What is it like to live in Ruse? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

In the guide books the city is called The Little Vienna, because of the architecture. It won an informal competition for city in Bulgaria that is good for living.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ruse?

Are university is quite big and has nice campus. We have a lot of different faculties and a lot of foreign students are studying there. There are a lot of events organized for students.

How much does it cost to live in Ruse?

If you live in the dorms it is approximately 400 euros a month. And another 100 to 500 euros per semester for fees (depends on if you are bachelor or master, also it depends on in which faculty you study).

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We all love our food, it is tasty and the bulgarian yogurt is unique.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ruse?

There are a lot of museums (for example Kaliopa's house - we believe that whoever visit that museum will be in love forever happily).

Is it good to eat out in Ruse? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is and one can choose from a big variety of cuisines.

Is the nightlife good in Ruse? Where is good to go?

For sure. There are a lot of night clubs with different music each night during the whole week.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ruse?

You have to experience Ruse.
