Why did you choose to go to Reykjavík, Iceland?
It is a unique place in Europe, very different to any city you can choose in all Europe.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I didn't get too much. Just money from the Erasmus program.
What is the student lifestyle like in Reykjavík?
Awesome. We had to work harder than we probably would in some other places, but it is an unforgettable experience. There are a lot of activities for students at University and even for exchange students. There are many exchange programs apart from Erasmus so there is a big chance to meet people from all around the world.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Reykjavík to other students?
Definitely yes.

In general, it is easy to find a nice room for around 300 € (50. 000 kr) all included.
Grocery stores are a little more expensive than in Spain.
All in all, I would say it is cheaper than what I expected. However, as it is said everywhere, alcohol is very very expensive (I couldn't find a bottle of strong alcohol for less than 18€).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Icelandic course is only available in August, that's the reason why I didn't have the chance because I only when the spring semester. However, Icelandic is pretty hard, you won´t get a word if you haven´t been told the meaning before.
