Why did you choose to go to Reykjavík, Iceland?

Because I study geology and Iceland it's the best place ever for that

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received almost 600 euros to live but the life is really expensive...

What is the student lifestyle like in Reykjavík?

If we don't talk about the prices.. the student life is really cool, no much class so a lot of time to travel around the Island and discover beautiful landscapes.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Reykjavík to other students?

If you have money yes !!!

What is the food like?

.... no comment it's not my style. I talk about Icelandic food but we can find other food too.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Reykjavík?

I found really quickly my accomodation but I started to search 4months before to go... After it's complicate.

How much does it cost to live in Reykjavík?

Per month include food and rent almost 900 euros ...

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Icelandic is really complicate but fortunately icelandic people are bilingual in majority so they speak in english very well. All my class were in english so I didn't have any problem about language

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Reykjavík from your city?

From france ? Plane of course! If you want to travel in Iceland I recommend to rent car with friends

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Reykjavík?

Kiki bar !!!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Reykjavík?

No sorry too expensive to eat in restaurants

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

So many landscapes ! But you need to good in vatnajokull national park, thingvellir and geysir !

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Reykjavík in the future?

If you want to go in Reykjavik you need to be prepare economically and search a accomodation quickly ! But after enjoy your experience!
