You will enjoy Reggio Emilia. People there is hospitable and warm. As soon as you will meet some students from Reggio Emilia they can take you around the best restaurants and pubs/disco of the city. For a short term stay is better a bigger city (es Bologna or Roma) but for working or long term stay (like two years), Reggio Emilia is a good option.
