What is it like to live in Puebla City? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Puebla is the third largest city in Mexico, and the second one with more universities in the country, as an UNESCO's listed places with a long history, Puebla has a great architecture legacy, making a exiting mix between the history and the modernity, you will find in Puebla a gowing economy and a multicultural enviroment pulled by the presence of companies from automative, IT, clothes, and food industries such as VW, AUDI, T Systems, Faurecia, BIMBO... that creates a facinating gamma of culture and entretainement options for the visitors.

Cholula is one of the oldest habited cities in the world and it is integrated to the Pueblas' metropolitan area, further it has 4 of the 6 best universities of the country, Cholula is the traditional mexican magic town built in the aztecs time, with a colorful down town and the biggest pyramid of the world.

Puebla is a secure place with friendly people and an amazing night life , due of the long amount of youg people atracted by it enviroment and long amount of universities, in addition it counts with a many amenities between malls, cinemas, restaurants, cofee shops, theaters...

Finally if you visit Puebla you should consider the geographical location, it is very close to Mexico city, and many turistic places, that provide options among rainy forest, deserts, the snowy mountains...

What is the student lifestyle like in Puebla City?

Puebla is totally a city for students, is the second city with more universities in the country and there are several amenities for young people, Puebla is the point of contact for many students from all places in Mexico, and other countries.

How much does it cost to live in Puebla City?

the cost of living in Mexico is not so high compared with some european countries, the exchange between peso and Euro is 21 pesos for each euro.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Puebla City? Is there any advice you can give?

There are several options of acommodation, some universities provides it own dormitories, but there are many options around the unversities, between lofts, departments, student houses...

The flow of incoming students is already part of the Puebla's enviroment, and there are several options for them among low cost and luxury options.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Puebla is one of the most recognized centers of the mexican gastronomy, dishes as Mole, Chile en nogada, tacos arabes... are between the most important local dishes, however you can easily find restaurants specialized in French food, spanish food, Arabian food, Italian, German, Chinese, japanese food...

Uber is an excellent traposrtation option as taxis and public trasport are not so good.
