What is it like to live in Puebla City? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I do recommend to live in Puebla, It´s a very nice city, with a great weather trough the whole year. A lot of international students live here, because of the variety of universities in the city, so you can always meet new people.

What is the student lifestyle like in Puebla City?

It´s great, the universities host a lot of parties and events for the students to create new memories, and also you can always have little trips to the beautiful towns nearby.

How much does it cost to live in Puebla City?

It depends on your own expenses, and how much you are willing to spend on food and also if you like to go out very often it can get a little expensive, but mostly all students go out to Cholula where is really cheap.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Puebla City? Is there any advice you can give?

You can always check with your university wether to stay in a residence or to find some apartments near you university, here in UDLAP there are plenty of apartments near campus.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is very complete you can find pretty much everything but it depends where you buy it the price it´s gonna be.

What places would you recommend visiting in Puebla City?

I recommend to visit the downtown, Atlixco is little town half-hour from puebla, Los fuertes also.

Is it good to eat out in Puebla City? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, you can always eat out, there are plenty of choices you can choose from, it depends on how much you wanna pay for it, there some cheap and other´s not so cheap. one of my favorite is the 830 restaurant in Cholula.

Is the nightlife good in Puebla City? Where is good to go?

Also depend on your group of friends and how much you wanna pay for drinks, the clubs near the mall center are quite expensive so you don´t se much international students hanging there, but in cholula there are some clubs and plenty of bars where international students hang a lot

What advice would you give future students heading to Puebla City?

To check everything very carefully with your home university so you don't have any problems with that here, to make sure your phone is unlocked and you can buy wifi here, not to be so late out on the night specially if you are a girl. About the weather you don't have to worry that much, in winter is cold but not freezing
