EVS

Good morning EVS and Erasmus, this week I would like to talk a little more about the EVS, and several people have told me it's like a ERASMUS and I would like to make it clear that it is not.

The EVS is a European Voluntary Service, which according to the project you choose will go to one center or another, such as from a nursing home, like me, a library, community center, there are many kennel ... different projects, besides being able to choose the project, you can also choose the country,city or town squares function there ... once you select and do different steps start your function as EVS, It's a real work you have your schedule, your work, your salary ... just your functions are always help to others, because they're volunteer, a job like any other In my case, I do the work of a social worker in practice, for me it's great because it's what I've studied and this is the reason why I chose this proyect .

In my case, I Choose to work in a care home, its name in Prienai Globos Namouse, this is in Prienai, this is a little town of Kaunas and as is loggic situation in Lithiania.As I said my job is help to old person and my task are so different I can to help to social works with different activities as videos, interviw...as do my own class of relax, theatro, teraphy, sport...as help to old person with its room, with the use of  facebook or gmail, with spanish lessons....There are a lot of possibilities in my job, besides of my task I spends all my weekend with my freinds in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania,in this city you can to do all thinks that  you can imagin, too spend my time in visit other countries or towns near to Lithuania, because Lithuania has a good and central ubication, is really good ubication for travel!

Also I lived so near to Kaunas that is like Vilnius, here you have all that you need, I love this city.

Sometimes the volunteers have meeting and arrivals with our received organization, in my cass my recieived organitation is DEINETA, ubacation in Kaunas, and in this meeting or arrivals you do a lot of activities and you can meet a lot of people of different country, is so funny and amazing! In this kind of activities you learn more about you youth pass, about you future proyect and about yourself.

But, for my the best in this EVS are friends that you meet, are really friends, because they are in your same situation and they understand you and always help you with all, is like your little o big family here. You learn a lot of about cook, languages, costum....is really great!

Also,in my cass i have a grat mentor and tutor that hep me with all and always they care about me.

About my proyect i dont know that proec I do but I think about do something related with Spain, food, dance, picures....I want that tle people of my job know about my country, my costum....about me!
