Experience in Portsmouth, United Kingdom by Charlotte

What is it like to live in Portsmouth? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Portsmouth is a great city to live in. It is divided into several areas, Southsea, Old Portsmouth, Fratton, Cosham and Drayton. The main student areas are Southsea and Fratton, but each area has its own high street and shops. Southsea is by the beach and is very beautiful and is normally quite cheap for student accommodation. Prices are average, not cheap but not too expensive, and there are lots of student discounts.
