Yes I enjoyed living in Portsmouth. Friendly students and staff. A nice city to be in.

Good. The uni is centrally positioned so all thing of interest are convenient.
Really liked the free university bus service for getting around.
How much does it cost to live in Portsmouth?
Modest costs in comparison to the capital or some Russel group unis
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Portsmouth? Is there any advice you can give?
No.
I found my room through the local landlords association web site, the PDPLA. All licensed and inspected by the council. Far cheaper than the uni halls. Friendly helpful local landlords. A face not a jobs worth.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
usual uni food, burgers + kebabs . Lots of Indian restaurants. Chinese, Thai, Japanese too.
Sushi.
What places would you recommend visiting in Portsmouth?
Go and see HMS Victory and Warrior, the old ships in the dockyard.
A walk along the Promenade is good. Stop for a coffee and watch the ferries.
A swim in the sea is free

Albert road is the centre of the food shops for Southsea.
Is the nightlife good in Portsmouth? Where is good to go?
Guildhall square for the pubs and all.

Avoid the uni halls.
Very Expensive.
Noisy.
